We currently have an opening for an experienced Customer Service/Order Management Manager. The CS/OM Manager will oversee the daily operations of the customer service and order management teams while finding ways to implement process improvements and initiatives into the organization to assist in Schumacher’s continued growth.

Location: Greater Dallas / Fort Worth Area

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage two or more teams with employment status decision making responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff within the customer service and order management teams
  • Handle escalation calls and resolve customer service concerns
  • Develop/implement/improve/maintain departmental processes and procedures
  • Stay abreast of new company products and services
  • Keep track of staff performance, analyze metrics and develop strategies to maximize productivity
  • Lead the team in managing customer orders timely and accurately to ensure service level expectations are met
  • Act as overflow for orders, calls, emails and live chat
  • Monitor customer service interactions and provide constructive feedback to promote and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure all employees are fully trained in all aspects of the job and receive continuous product training
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Working knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability and desire to learn new software
  • Good understanding of management practices and techniques
  • Knowledgeable of process improvement strategies
  • Proven success in leading customer service/order management IT project upgrades/implementations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to interact and effectively influence various departments within the organization
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed outside of normal working hours

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 4 years’ experience managing customer service employees, preferably in a large call-center environment; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Technical background and automotive aftermarket knowledge preferred

We currently have an opening for a Project Manager, Engineering. The Project Manager, Engineering, will be responsible for leading product development projects.

Location: Greater Dallas / Fort Worth Area

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads cross-functional project teams to deliver quality products on time and within budget
  • Drives creation of Project Requirements Document and Business Case for each project
  • Estimates internal and external development costs for projects as well as BOM cost estimates
  • Develops, publishes, and maintains comprehensive project plans using Daptiv
  • Manages projects in a Stage Gate environment ensuring deliverables are met for each gate
  • Interfaces with and leads local and distributed project teams in multiple countries
  • Schedules and facilitates development, design reviews, and production meetings with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures designs conform to UL, CE, and other standards as required
  • Verifies accuracy of BOMs, component drawings, assembly drawings, user manuals, and associated product documentation
  • Analyses/ develops schedules, BOM costs and recommends design approaches required to meet production requirements for new products

  • Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with other company personnel, vendors, and customers, including being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities, and disabilities
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed including calls in different time zones outside of normal working hours
  • Willing to travel occasionally to vendor sites and to Schumacher production facilities to support projects
  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree preferred
  • At least 5 years Engineering Project Management experience, preferably in the consumer electronics, power supplies or battery chargers
  • Experience with Daptiv Project Portfolio Management Software preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish or Mandarin a plus
